The sequence
-
Write your own view first
Choose one question and record what you currently think outside the conversation. Keep private details out of the prompt.
-
Ask for another account
Request reasons against your position and what evidence would matter. A plausible objection may still be a caricature; it does not replace hearing a real person affected.
-
Check what matters
Verify consequential claims through suitable independent sources. Do not treat a citation-shaped answer as a checked source.
-
Close the exchange
Step away before deciding. Compare your view with what you wrote first and name what, if anything, justified a change.
The same structure works with a book, a willing friend, or a written case against your own position. No practice here requires a conversational system.
For a medical, legal or other consequential decision, use the exercise to prepare questions for someone qualified and accountable. It is not a way to make that person’s role unnecessary.
If the exchange mainly produces permission to do what you already wanted, that may be the finding worth keeping.
